Tegal and Semarang are two areas that have quite different cultural values. The city of Tegal itself has strong traditions and cultural characteristics, such as the tradition of drinking tea, the mudun lembah tradition, the mutih tradition, and many others. These various cultures and traditions will certainly influence the values and foundations of Tegal Pancasakti University (UPS). Likewise with Semarang and Undip. The culture in Semarang will certainly influence the values and foundations of Diponegoro University. Therefore, it is possible to hold cooperation so that both parties can exchange information about these cultural differences.
With this meeting, the Undergraduate Program in Indonesian Literature, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences Undip, and the Pancasakti University of Tegal agreed to carry out joint activities. The activity is in the form of a national forensic linguistics webinar which will be conducted online on May 11, 2023.
