The dialectic of science is connected not only by pursuing the field as deeply as possible, but also by connecting friendships with academics engaged in it. On November 9, 2022, the Indonesian Literature Study Program FIB UNDIP received a visit from academics from the Sebelas Maret University (UNS). The academics are the Head of Study Programs and lecturers of the Indonesian Literature Study Program FIB UNS.
Welcoming the arrival of these academic colleagues, the Indonesian Literature Study Program UNDIP felt a deep warmth, both in terms of knowledge and brotherhood. As fellow academics in the university environment, both UNDIP and UNS lecturers, discuss the journey of the development of science in Indonesia. Both of them realized that there was an interest in following the intellectual currents that existed in the faithful policy of critical reasoning in the university environment.
In addition to discussing the latest developments in the world of education at universities, lecturers of the Indonesian Literature Study Program FIB UNDIP invited academics at UNS to tour around the campus. As a means of emotional closeness, this activity is also called a campus safari. In this campus safari, various discussions about the development of the social environment in the UNDIP campus environment became a reflection that could be imitated. Moreover, a creative discourse on the development of the tri dharma of higher education which focuses on student involvement was also discussed during this visit.
Received a visit from the academician of the Indonesian Literature Study Program UNS, Dr. Sukarjo Waluyo said he was happy. This visit became one of the expressive forums that made UNDIP and UNS in general be able to inspire each other with family values. Moreover, this visit was carried out by academics who were in the same field with friends from the Indonesian Literature Study Program, FIB UNDIP. Furthermore, there will be several discourses that are verbally conveyed by the two universities to be one of the horizons that can be considered. (Hamdan)
