An Undip Indonesian Literature Study Program student named Fahira El Sahara has succeeded in making a proud achievement. He won the second-place title in the 2023 Journalistic Fair Competition in the news reading category.
The 2023 Journalistic Fair Competition itself is a competition held by the Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines). There are three categories of competitions offered in this competition, namely photography competition, news reading competition, and illustration competition. The general requirements that must be met to take part in this competition are that the participants are students, college students, and the general public. The competition is individual. Participants must follow the Instagram accounts @journalisticfair2023 and @lpm.dimension. Participants must upload a twibbon and tag their Instagram accounts @journalisticfair2023 and @lpm.dimension. In addition, participants are required to pay a registration fee of IDR 15,000 per work. Participants must follow the decisions and rules set by the committee and the jury.
Fahira has a good voice and talent when it comes to reading the news. It was proven that before winning this competition, he had also won other similar competitions. On the occasion of this competition, Fahira brought news about a truck that overturned on the Kaliwirudescent, Semarang. He explained clearly and straightforwardly the chronology of the accident.
Thanks to this achievement, Fahira got the opportunity to get some coaching money and also an electronic certificate. Fahira has also succeeded in making the Indonesian Literature Study Program family proud of her achievement. In addition, he has succeeded in proving that Undip Indonesian Literature Study Program students have good potential and competitiveness.
Dr. Sukarjo Waluyo, M.Hum as Head of the Undip Indonesian Literature Study Program hopes that Fahira will not be satisfied with just getting here and will continue to hone her skills and gain experience to be able to achieve other achievements. In addition, in the future, it is hoped that more students from the Indonesian Literature Study Program will be interested in participating in various kinds of competitions and achieving achievements that can make the name of the Undip Indonesian Literature Study Program proud.
