Website performance at the university and faculty level greatly influences the reputation of Higher Education. This is because the quality of information presented on the website will affect university rankings. One method of ranking university websites is Webometrics. In connection with this urgency, Diponegoro University is trying to continue standardizing the website through mentoring and training for managers at the faculty and university levels. The website development assistance activity was carried out on Friday, April 14 2023 at the Aruss Hotel, Candisari Semarang.
This activity involved all website managers at Diponegoro University. The speakers presented at the activity were Prof. Dr. Denny Nugroho Sugianto, S.T,, M.Si as the Head of the Rating Office, Dr. Adian Fathurahim, S.T., M.T., Eko Didik Widianto, S.T., M.T., Alkomari, S.Sos., M.I.Kom, and Joko Saksono, S.Kom. Dr. Adian Fathurahim,S.T.,M.T. This activity emphasizes that there are at least three things that need to be considered by Undip website managers, namely the quantity and quality of content, as well as the potential for content to be understood by international audiences. In addition, the content on the website must be able to reflect the overall structure of the university. Therefore, during the website development assistance activities, managers are encouraged to always present bilingual content. This activity also equips managers with techniques for writing information on the web and website appearance according to standards set by Diponegoro University.
This activity is a form of Diponegoro University’s strategic steps to increase competitiveness while optimizing the quality of service to the community. (Marta W)
