Student Talk Show: Breaking Boundaries to Achieve a Productive and Promising Creative World

The Indonesian Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Diponegoro University, once again held a soft skills development activity for students entitled “Breaking Boundaries to Achieve a Productive and Promising Creative World.” This event encouraged students to explore their potential, develop ideas, and dare to break the boundaries of creativity.

Honing Soft Skills, Exploring Creativity

Through this activity, students are encouraged to not only master academic theory, but also hone their critical thinking, communication, innovation, and collaborative work skills—the four main pillars in the development of soft skills needed in the modern workplace.

The theme “Breaking Boundaries to Achieve a Productive and Prospective Creative World” reflects the spirit of Indonesian Literature students to become active and creative individuals, capable of turning ideas into valuable works.

“Don’t let your brilliant ideas just sit in your subconscious! It’s time for your creative ideas to break through the boundaries of the world,” was the inspiring message from the event committee.

Collaboration, Inspiration, and Transformation

This event also provided a space for students to discuss with experienced practitioners and academics in the fields of communication and creative literature. The speakers shared their views on how to manage ideas, build creative portfolios, and take advantage of opportunities in the ever-growing creative industry.

With a combination of offline and online sessions, this event is open to all Indonesian Literature students and students from other faculties who want to broaden their horizons and hone their non-academic skills.

Dr. Sukarjo Waluyo, M.Hum., as the Head of the Indonesian Literature Study Program at FIB Undip, supports and appreciates this activity. He also hopes that this soft skills activity can motivate and improve the achievements of other Indonesian Literature Study Program students so that they can become great and make their alma mater and themselves proud.
