Indonesian Literature Study Program students FIB UNDIP show their creative role for Central Java through various lecture support activities. One of these roles was realized by Dinda Nur Adjizah, a seventh-semester student of the Indonesian Literature Study Program FIB UNDIP. Through the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program held by UNDIP, Dinda contributed a Tourism Icon to Teluk Awur.

Known as a new tourist location in Jepara, Teluk Awur shows the integration between water tourism and carving creations. Seeing this, Dinda Nur Adjizah also saw development potential that needed to be improved. This potential is seen by Dinda in terms of implementing and marketing tourism products. Therefore, Dinda also made a recommendation poll for tourism icons.

Dinda chose the logo and slogan as the target for the monogamy project from the KKN that she carried out in Teluk Awur. The logo and slogan that Dinda made are not far from the tourism and cultural values that already exist in Teluk Awur. With colorful nuances full of coastal culture, Dinda also illustrated the Teluk Awur tourism logo with several iconic arrangements. The arrangement is mainly by stringing waves and boats. The waves meet the vector of houses and coconut trees.

These various elements highlight the life of the Jepara people who are close to marine activities. The logo, which is affixed with the words Teluk Awur Tourism Village, further clarifies its practical use. By adding a variety of natural and diverse color schemes, Dinda tries to bring together conventional and modern traditions which now have no boundaries due to increasingly sophisticated information technology.

In addition to the logo, Dinda also plays on words through the Ark’s slogan “Bahari Teluk Awur Jepara”. The ability to process abbreviations from a series of words became a practice for the Stylistics course that Dinda met through the Indonesian Literature Study Program FIB UNDIP. Dinda also admitted that while studying at the Indonesian Literature Study Program she learned a lot to process words according to the needs that her or someone who needed her services wanted. With the recommendation for the logo and slogan made by Dinda, it appears that the knowledge during college has been able to be applied in real life.

Seeing Dinda’s role in the KKN program in Teluk Awur, Dr. Sukarjo Waluyo, M.Hum. is proud of what the Indonesian Literature Study Program students have done. As Chair of the Indonesian Literature Study Program FIB UNDIP, Dr. Sukarjo Waluyo, M.Hum. sees Dinda’s role in the KKN in Teluk Awur as a strategic future projection both for Dinda herself and for the Indonesian Literature Study Program.
