Sasindo FIB UNDIP Students Set to Shine at Pilmapres 2026

At the 2026 Faculty-Level Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres) of the Faculty of Humanities (FIB), Universitas Diponegoro, several students achieved remarkable accomplishments and were selected as the top three representatives to advance to the university-level selection. The selection process, held in early February 2026, consisted of interviews, portfolio presentations, and evaluations of both academic and non-academic achievements.

Among the finalists, students from the Indonesian Literature Study Program stood out with noteworthy performances. They demonstrated not only strong academic records but also excellence in leadership, creativity, and meaningful contributions to the campus community. Their participation in Pilmapres reflects a competitive spirit and readiness to represent the study program at the university level.

The appointment of the top three FIB UNDIP delegates further highlights the faculty’s ongoing commitment to encouraging students—including those from Indonesian Literature—to actively pursue achievements and develop their potential beyond routine academic activities. This success also serves as tangible evidence of their preparedness to compete in a forum that demands strong communication skills, critical thinking, and a long-term vision as outstanding students.

With the faculty representatives advancing to the university-level selection, Indonesian Literature students and their peers are now intensifying their preparations for the next stage. They are refining their strategies, strengthening their portfolios, and deepening their understanding of the assessment criteria at the university level. This active participation is expected to open broader opportunities for them to attain prestigious recognition and make positive contributions to the academic community.

Dr. Sukarjo Waluyo, S.S., M.Hum., Head of the Indonesian Literature Study Program at FIB UNDIP, expressed full support for M. Irham Maolana in the Pilmapres 2026 competition. He hopes that this achievement will inspire other students to take an active role in various academic and extracurricular activities within the Indonesian Literature Study Program.
