The Indonesian Literature Study Program held a work meeting on Monday, 12 January 2025, in the Faculty Meeting Room. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Study Program, the Secretary of the Study Program, lecturers, and academic staff. The discussion focused on two main agendas, namely the preparation for teaching in the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year and the initial steps toward international accreditation.
Preparation for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year
The Head of the Study Program opened the meeting by presenting the academic calendar and the general outline of the teaching plan for the upcoming semester. The discussion proceeded in a conducive manner, with each lecturer given the opportunity to convey suggestions and needs related to the courses they will be teaching.
Preparation Toward International Accreditation
The second agenda addressed strategic steps in the effort to obtain international accreditation. The Study Program aims to enhance the quality of documentation, curriculum, and academic performance in accordance with the standards set by international accrediting bodies.
The Head of the Study Program emphasized that the international accreditation process is not merely an administrative achievement but also part of a continuous commitment to quality improvement. He also highlighted the importance of cooperation among all members of the study program in achieving these goals.
With collective commitment and a systematically arranged work plan, Dr. Sukarjo Waluyo, S.S., M.Hum., as the Head of the Indonesian Literature Study Program at the Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University, expressed optimism in welcoming the new semester while initiating strategic steps toward international recognition. He hopes that these efforts will bring positive impacts on the quality of teaching, academic performance, and the institution’s reputation at the global level.
