Semarang – The Indonesian Literature Program, Faculty of Humanities (FIB), Diponegoro University (UNDIP), is set to host a Visiting Lecturer program as part of its ongoing commitment to enriching academic discourse and cultural studies. The event carries the theme “Women’s Language in the Digital Age: From Fiction to Social Reality,” addressing contemporary issues at the intersection of language, literature, gender, and digital culture.
The Visiting Lecturer session will feature two prominent scholars in language and literary studies: Prof. Dr. Munira Hasyim, S.S., M.Hum. from Hasanuddin University and Prof. Dr. Mundi Rahayu, M.Hum. from UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim. Both speakers will share critical insights into how women’s language is represented in literary works and how it manifests in everyday social interactions within digital spaces.
The discussion will be moderated by M. Hamdan Mukafi, S.S., M.A., who will guide the dialogue to encourage an engaging and critical exchange of ideas. Through this academic forum, participants are expected to gain a deeper understanding of the evolving role of women’s language amid rapid technological and social change.
The event is open to lecturers, students, researchers, and cultural observers with an interest in language, literature, gender studies, and digital media. Beyond knowledge sharing, the Visiting Lecturer program aims to foster critical thinking, creativity, and interdisciplinary dialogue.
Through this initiative, the Indonesian Literature Program of FIB UNDIP reaffirms its dedication to organizing inclusive, актуal, and intellectually stimulating academic activities, while strengthening scholarly collaboration across institutions.
