The Department of Talents and Culture of the Indonesian Literature Student Association (KMSI) is organizing its flagship program, the Language Month Parade (Parlansa), on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The event, held on November 8, 2025, carries the theme “Sunyi Rupa (Surup),” which focuses on traditional culture, such as traditional toys and food.
At the GSG courtyard, visitors are greeted with traditional food and drinks like jamu, klepon, cenil, lapis, and many other traditional delicacies. Visitors are invited to sample various traditional foods and beverages. In the left wing of the building, visitors were treated to various traditional games and arts from the past, such as paintings, poetry, congklak, engklek, yoyo, egrang batok kelapa, and many others, making visitors feel nostalgic for the old days.
Unlike previous years, this year’s Parlansa collaborated with other student activity units, such as Wadah Musik Sastra (WMS) and Emper Kampus (EMKA) theater. It also held a poetry writing competition to commemorate Poetry Day. In addition, there were other collaborations, such as flower arranging activities combined with Pokok Sastra and Koempoel Bersama.
The Parlansa activities began with a poetry reading competition represented by each batch of the Indonesian Literature study program, followed by dance performances, the WMS band, the Papeer band, the Sambat Budaya Music Orchestra, and Beverly Line. Many visitors were enthusiastic because they could reminisce about traditional culture in the Parlansa activities.
“Hopefully, the next Parlansa and the ones after that can be a forum for the surrounding community. Not only a forum for the committee, but also a forum for the audience, both Sasindo members and those outside Sasindo Undip,” said Razka as the Chief Executive.
Dr. Sukarjo Waluyo, S.S., M.Hum., as the Head of the Indonesian Literature Program at FIB Undip, fully supports KMSI. He hopes this will become a platform for Sasindo students to actively participate in various activities within the Indonesian Literature Program.
