Capacity Building for lecturers and students of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, DiponegoroUniversity was held on March 10 to 11 2023, in Yogyakarta. This activity is an effort to improve performance and teamwork for lecturers and educational staff at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Diponegoro University. Efforts to increase performance and also teamwork are packaged interestingly, namely by various games, solving problems that must be solved with the team, as well as visits to several beautiful tourist spots. Lecturers and students from the Undip Indonesian Literature Study Program participated in this activity. They participated in all series of activities with great enthusiasm and joy.
There are several series of activities in Capacity Building this time. One of the activities is visiting the Heha Ocean View tour. The beautiful scenery presented there keep the employees busy capturing the moment. Furthermore, the employees also had the opportunity to visit the Obelix tour. This one tourist attraction offers natural scenery in the form of beautiful ancient rock hills. There, the employees had the opportunity to be able to enjoy the beautiful sunset together from the top of the hill.
On the second day, the employees took part in an outbound activity held at the Rooftop Forizz Hotel, where they were staying. This outbound activity is in the form of several fun games that require employees to have good teamwork skills. Not only that, the lecturers and students were also given an interesting experience to tour the tourist village of Borobudur by using the VW Safari. Apart from that, they were also allowed to shop for typical Yogyakarta souvenirs in Malioboro.
Dr. Sukarjo Waluyo, M.Hum as Chair of the Undip Indonesian Literature Study Program hopes that this Capacity Building activity can foster new enthusiasm, increase work motivation, develop HR skills, and strengthen solidarity among employees at the UndipFaculty of Cultural Sciences. (Kristy)
