One thing that every student needs to do is what he will do after graduating from college. One of the choices that many make is to find and get a job according to ability, especially one that can be supported by the knowledge that has been studied during college. On 22-23 February 2023 Diponegoro University held an activity entitled Undip Career Days 2023.
This activity is an open space for all graduates from various majors in determining future job choices. Students from the Indonesian Literature Study Program FIB Undip may join in to enliven it. Several students who have graduated from the Indonesian Literature Study Program and have not yet made a choice of work can also take advantage of this activity.
Several large companies that will enliven the socialization stands and carry out open recruitment, for example, Epson, PT HM Sampoerna Tbk., Honda, and many others. Companies that will take part in these activities open up job opportunities in various positions, such as supervision, marketing, finance, and human resource development. Of course, various levels of salary will also be conveyed according to the intended job position when applying to these companies.
This activity was seen by Dr.Sukarjo Waluyo, M.Hum. as a positive step that can be taken not only by alumni who have just graduated, but also students who are still studying. The Head of the Indonesian Literature Study Program views that this is related to how students get a view of their future work by utilizing the knowledge gained in the lecture halls of their respective study programs.
