The Language Month Parade Essay Competition is the first national-level essay competition organized by the Indonesian Literature Student Family of Diponegoro University to celebrate Language Month. This competition aims to hone the critical thinking of students who are expected to act as agents of change to face a golden Indonesia in the future.

With the theme “Revitalizing the Awareness of the Young Generation towards Indonesian Culture and Language in the Era of Digitalization”, this essay competition hopes to find and give birth to the latest thoughts of today’s generation. In this regard, some sub-themes can be studied in writing this essay, namely education, socio-cultural, and technology. The three sub-themes address the most trending matters that are being discussed in the present.

This October has entered the Second Wave of the registration period for this essay competition. Therefore, before the closing of this second wave, it is hoped that the enthusiasm of the Indonesian people, especially academics, will contribute to voicing their critical thoughts related to the theme of the Parlansa Essay Competition.

The judges of the Language Month Parade Essay Competition are selected from Indonesian Literature lecturers who have experience and are qualified as judges in the field of scientific writing. At the end of the competition, there will be awards with details: 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place which will be announced on Instagram @kmsiundip and during the Parlansa Celebration.
