One of the study programs in the field of social and cultural sciences at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Diponegoro University is now venturing into the audio-visual world that is currently loved by many internet enthusiasts, namely podcasts. The name Belantara stands for ‘Learning Culture with Literary Eyes’ which is made like that because the Indonesian Literature study program is located at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences so it will not be separated from cultural learning as well as combined with literary views.
In this inaugural episode of the Sasindo podcast, the team invited a student who is currently pursuing a fast-track Master of Literature Undip who used to be an Undip Indonesian Literature student. She is Chintya Angesty who is familiarly called Puan. The name comes from her pen name, which makes her friends prefer to call her by her pen name.
Puan told how she finally dropped her heart and future to Undip’s Indonesian Literature, namely because since high school she had a passion for literature. She was also supported by her family where if she took Indonesian Literature, she would be questioned, ‘What do you want to graduate with?’, but what she got instead was support from her mother’s advice which said more or less, ‘it doesn’t matter where you are, as long as you can excel and advance, your future will be beautiful’. Puan’s decision, which was supported by her family, brought her to Undip Indonesian Literature, which she saw as a top university that was no less cool than other universities.
During her time as a student of Sasindo Undip, Puan was also involved in the student association organization, KMSI (Keluarga Mahasiswa Sastra Indonesia). She felt that she had not achieved enough so far, having been the 2018 West Java Language Ambassador, and felt that she still wanted to process so she decided to devote herself to learning in student organizations. He once served as chairman of the Assessment and Reasoning division at KMSI. In addition, during her time as a Sasindo Undip student, she received support from the study program, especially financial support when participating in competitions.
This little talk with Chintya Angesty will bring audio-visual audiences to understand Undip Sasindo and its advantages. (Cindy)
