The public lecture teaching Indonesian Language and Literature, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University presented a lecturer from Japan, Dr. Yuki Nakata from Toyo University who was the main performer in the public lecture activity. The activity which was held on Friday, March 1 2019 from 09.00 to 12.00 am, took place in room A.3.10 FIB Undip which was chaired by Riris Tiani, S.S, M.Hum., As one of the lecturers of the Indonesian Literature undergraduate study program, and was attended by lecturers and There are 125 Indonesian students from the 2015 to 2018 undergraduate study program.

In this public lecture event aims to broaden the knowledge and insight as well as the competence of lecturers and students in certain fields of science. In addition, information can be obtained from sources about the application of the knowledge gained. The public lecture was opened with remarks by the head of the Indonesian Literature undergraduate study program Dr. Muh. Abdullah, M.A. The theme of this public lecture is “Language and Literature Learning and Teaching” for students of the Indonesian Literature study program. The event, which lasts for three hours, discusses how to learn foreign languages, especially Japanese for beginners, the importance of learning variations, the importance of finding relationships with each other in learning foreign languages.
